Online Crochet Workshop for Kids
A live 3-day crochet workshop where kids 7-12 learn real crochet from scratch — chain, single crochet, a flower and their first granny square. Step-by-step live guidance, small batch.

Crochet is one of those rare skills that gives a child something they can hold up and say "I made this." Over three live evenings our coach takes your child from holding a hook for the very first time to finishing their own crochet flower and granny square — slowly, on camera, stitch by stitch, with time to catch up.
This is a live workshop, not a video course. The batch is small so the coach can see every child's hands and fix the grip, the tension and the count in the moment. Kids who have never crocheted before are exactly who this is built for.
Crochet also does something screens don't: it is quiet, tactile and slow. Parents tell us it is the first activity where their child sits still and focused for 45 minutes without being asked twice — and walks away with a real object at the end of it.
Ages 7-12. You will need a 4mm crochet hook and a ball of cotton yarn — we send a ready-to-order link on WhatsApp the moment you book, so it arrives before Day 1.

All you need
Cotton yarn
One ball of 8-ply cotton yarn in a colour your child likes. We WhatsApp a ready-to-order link as soon as you book so it arrives before Day 1.
A 4mm crochet hook
A single 4mm aluminium hook is all they need — same link covers it. Nothing sharp, safe for ages 7+.
A screen with a camera
Laptop or tablet on a stable connection, placed so the coach can see your child's hands.
Scissors + a grown-up nearby
Small scissors for trimming yarn. A parent within earshot for the first session helps a lot.
Parents ask
Is the workshop live or recorded?+
It's 100% live over a video call with a HoopStar coach. Your child interacts, asks questions and gets real-time feedback — nothing pre-recorded.
What if my child is a total beginner?+
Perfect starting point. Every step has an easy and a stretch version, so first-timers and experienced kids both finish the workshop proud.
How do I book?+
Tap any “Book on WhatsApp” button. Our team confirms your child's slot, timing and payment. Seats are limited to keep batches small.
What if we miss a session?+
Message us on WhatsApp and we'll help with a make-up option or a recap so your child can catch up.
